The giant corks which hold an approx volume of 4,000 bottles of wine are apparently the world’s largest. As time has gone by, Corks have faced stiff competition from plastic stoppers and screw caps to ensure they maintain a decent level of indicence of wine oxidizing. Most wine fanatics still hold firm that cork is not only helpful to the environmental but more importantly the material allows wine to mature and develop character as it ages.

From 8th September, these giant corks will be on show at The Mall, outside the gates of the The Prince of Wales’ home Clarence house.
